My friend, Leslie, has a mebership to the Detroit Zoo, so we went about a week ago and it was great!! Here are the pictures to tell the story ...

Noah's face was beaming the WHOLE trip on the train. He LOVED it. Here's another picture of his overjoyed face:

Tonight Noah said family prayers before we went to sleep and here it is:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

Please bless everybody and please bless that everyone can come over and please bless we could have a good sleep and please bless everybody could still come over and grateful for my family and grateful for Mommy and Daddy and Noah and my whale and Baby Liam and grateful for daddy could pay for things for my whale. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

I thought it was noteworthy that Noah was grateful for his whale before Liam.

I LOVE dance shows ... but this is the best I've seen on TV, EVER! Last night they had their finale show. I love that these incredibly talented dancers can move me to tears through the way they move their bodies. It's amazing to me how they emote through music and dance and I adore it. Daniel always laughs at me when I see a moving piece and I'm sitting there, staring at the TV crying. But below is a link to one of the best pieces I saw this season. It's about addiction. My friend, Leslie, has a pass to the Detroit Zoo and she got me in free for the day. It was great! I will post tons of pictures and stuff later, but wanted to get this little video of Liam chasing a peacock up at least!

Lately Noah has been wild about sending mail in the mailbox. All day yesterday he would draw pictures on paper down inthe basement (otherwise known as "Noah's Kingdom") and run upstairs and cram the paper in our mailbox. I have no idea what the mailman thought when he saw our mailbox packed with scraps of scribbled on paper. Anyway, the day before yesterday he decided to write letters to his friends the Ordaz boys. Here's what he wrote to each one:

"Dear Alonzo,
I love you so much still I have to get everybody out of here when they're bad. I love cheese so much too.
Love, Noah

Dear Alejandro,
I like you so so so much and so much and so so so so so so much.
Love, Noah

Dear Antonio,
I still love you.
Love, Noah"

My sister, Bethany, called me tonight and asked me to look up some old pictures of a haircut she had back in 2005-2006. So I started thumbing through old photos .... and 45 minutes later I was giggling at the cute and silly pictures my sisters and I took while waiting for Aria to graduate back in June 2006. So fun ... here's a peek at some of the reminiscing:

Finally!!!! The prettiest grad ever, right?? 3 years, one husband and one baby Luca later ... she's still a bombshell!

Alright, I have been trying to figure out how to deal with my hideous bathroom for two years now and I've decided to work WITH the crazy flesh-tone colored tile.

Anyway, I have a new frame in the bathroom and wanted to fill it with some cute, sweet little picture of my boys in the tub ... maybe black and white, something tender, ya know? So I had a mini photo shoot for bathtime tonight. What the heck ... Daniel isn't coming home until way late, so might as well, PLUS my sisters are all bummed out cuz I'm flying to California without my boys in a few weeks, so they miss the boys. Photo time ...

Now, for every good picture, you know there were about 15 crazy shots ... here is a peek at some of the worst.

First problem we encountered ... blurriness because the boys are in constant motion and evidently too fast for the camera:







The second problem ... their crazy faces:










This was the low point - Liam got soap in his eyes and we had to get him out of the tub. Things were starting to deteriorate and this is the story of what happened AFTER the photo shoot:


As soon as I got Liam out fo the tub, he ran for his "hiding spot" under the side table, while I was trying to coax Noah out of the tub.


I gave up on Noah and tried to catch Liam ... he's fast these days, since he's walking/running now!!

Eventually got Noah out of soaking in the tub, like the tan lines?


Everything finally evolved into storytime on my bed. They are pretty cute naked little boys, eh??
